Connor McCarthy // Honours Student 2024
Hi there, My two main projects represent my love of illustration and UI/X design. In my work I aim to showcase my unique perspective with whatever I do.
I like life drawing, so the goal of the illustration project is to showcase the character of the most impactful people that got me where I am today. I am also looking into how to make a career path from my illustrations so I will be using this collection to show my skills and my personality to potential employers and galleries.
My UI/X project is based on accessibility of the workplace. I have designed a concept for an app that provides the user with information on a workplace’s accessibility. In my research, I noticed that job opportunities for physically disabled people are extremely difficult to find and there are few looking for a solution for it. I always want the apps that I design for to be helpful to the user. Solve a problem in a simple way.
